Hemp Seed Carrot Soup Ingredients:

  • 2 cups fresh carrot juice using 4-6 carrots.
  • 1 cup fresh almond milk.
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice.
  • 1 cup raw natural hemp seeds.
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder.
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper.
  • 1 teaspoon coriander seeds.
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon black cumin seeds.
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper.
  • 2 tablespoons black sesame seeds.
  • 1 medium chopped red bell pepper.
  • 1 stalk celery, coarsely chopped.
  • 1⁄2 red onion, coarsely chopped.
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, peeled and crushed.
  • 1⁄4 cup sun dried tomatoes.
  • 1 1⁄2 teaspoons salt.
  • 1 cup water.

Methods:

  • Add the above ingredients except almond milk into a high speed blender or food processor. Blend for 45 seconds on high speed.
  • Pour the soup base into a large bowl and mix the remaining 1⁄2 cup of almond milk. Pour into glass bowls for serving and add the garnishes. Enjoy!
  • You can add 2 teaspoons of virgin hemp seed oil or red chilli peppers for spice as garnish to your soup.
